The Group of Mathematical Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico, Univ. of Lisbon, a centre of excellence in Mathematics, see https://fisica-matematica.pt/en/, launches a call for expression of interest to identify candidates for post-doctoral positions in the areas of work of our members namely:
Integrable systems and geometry; Quantum mechanics and quantum gravity; Spectral theory of differential operators; Stochastic analysis and optimal transport.
Positions are for 1 (+1) year, with no teaching duties. Grant: 1851 euro/month, tax exempt, plus the possibility of covering voluntary social security contributions.
Based on the results of this resquest for expressions of interest, an official call for applications will be opened, predicted for the end of 2025, with a closing date in very early 2026. To be eligible, applicants will have to have defended their doctorate within three years of the closing date, that is, between very early 2023 and the beginning of 2026.
Expressions of interest are to be sent to ana.cruzeiro@tecnico.ulisboa.pt until 5th October 2025 and will be kept strictly confidential. They must include a CV and a short letter of motivation with the description of the current research.
